I've been wanting to start a blog for a very long time. Wanting to write about my trips and about what I enjoy.

I started travelling alone in 2008. It was the year I started learning Japanese. It was also, not long after I got a job. It was a frustrating time at work, so I decided to go on a holiday to "get away from people". It was kind of sudden so it was difficult to get anyone to go with me. Hence, Tokyo was the ultimate option! All I know were the numbers, "where?" and nothing much... But it thought me a lot and it inspired me to do more travelling.

I was lucky to be able to catch the Sakura in full blossom the first time round.

Travelling also made interested in Photography. Looking at all the photos made me interested to pick it up. I hope to be taking some minor classes to learn and understand more. In the meantime, its still a hobby. :)
What I have:
- old Sony H3
- Canon EOD550D + 50mm F1.8 + 18-135mm + 11-16mm F2.8 Tokina.
- Maybe a Fuji X-10 to replace the Sony?

Asides from these major interested, I love animals especially cats, I love going to Ikea and just be immersed with whatever it has. I enjoy looking at interesting houses for their designs and concepts. Mid-modern century is my kinda thing, from the furniture to the art.. fabulous! Electronics and digital items  is something that I like to read about too. Oh yes, gaming - PC gaming. RTS is my favourite category and with the introduction of Steam, its not going to be light on my wallet anymore.. My favourite book detective would be Poirot. So eccentric but so brilliant!
